Hopelink End Summer Hunger

P O Box 3577
Redmond,WA,98073-3577

www.hope-link.org
Every day across our community nearly 16,000 school children are eligible for free or reduced lunch from their schools. The loss of these meals during the summer months presents an immense challenge to parents who are already squeezing every penny out of their budgets. In addition to budgeting to replace these meals, many parents must also find a way to pay for daycare. These stresses make it harder for families to be able to pay their rent or mortgage, threatening them with homelessness. To address this need and prevent children from going hungry Hopelink created the End Summer Hunger campaign, which mobilizes schools, churches, businesses, and individuals to ensure our foodbanks can meet the increased needs we face during the summer. Bal Duniya donated $1000 to Hoplink End Summer Hunger in 2013.
